....Brad Price is a romantic, a backpacker, an expressionist, and a lover of high places.
....Through painting Brad Price makes an emotional visit to the scene he is painting. He can feel again what it is like to be there. He can smell the chamisa and hear the waxy clacking of the aspen leaves as they blow in the wind. He can once again enjoy the breeze as it comes down from the mountains. When he paints, he is there. When he hangs a painting on the wall, he invites others to be there with him.
....Currently, the landscape of Northern New Mexico is his primary focus. The light in New Mexico has a luminescent quality all its own, and Price seeks to capture its effects on canvas.
Brad Price is represented by the following galleries:

....His expressionistic style emphasizes contrast and bold complementary color. Price attributes much of his development as a painter to his admiration and study of New Mexico’s early masters. The brush strokes are bold and directional in nature. They set up a rhythmic movement that directs the eye, guiding the viewer through the composition. His paintings are a total experience placed on canvas. According to Price, art is experience and the sharing of experience. It is creating something new and beautiful for the world, and then sharing that moment with others.
....He was commissioned by MSB Gallery to paint a triad of Oklahoma scenes for the Oklahoma Centennial that hung in the east gallery of the Oklahoma State Capitol during the summer of the Centennial year. These are being offered for sale as giclees through MSB Gallery in Oklahoma City.
....Brad Price has been an award winning graphic designer, illustrator, and painter for over 34 years. He has lived in North, Central and South America. He currently resides in Norman, Oklahoma.
